“BROCCOLI OR PIG?” / {Webfilm Series}
Series of short doc-style webfilms where folks are given a choice of either picking some broccoli or killing a pig. They are given a knife and told to choose. We watch and hear VO such as: “fruit, vegetables… some vegan naysayers argue that they’re sentient too. And they may well be. But when faced with killing a feeling animal who wants to be happy and can feel the same exact emotions we do, or a plant that actually bears its fruit in order to procreate, and often keeps living when we take its life? This argument loses its merit pretty fast.” And we see the participant choose to harvest the veggie. Ideal sponsor: Any vegan food brand.
